Thomas Gregory “Greg” Fitzpatrick, 67, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on August 04, 2026. He was born April 20, 1959 , the son of the late Peggy Lou Fortson of Danielsville. Greg was a devoted father and friend whose quick wit and generous spirit touched so many.

Survivors includes the love of his life Diane Caudell and his loving children Jeremy Fitzpatrick, Kandace Fitzpatrick(Jamey), Cameron Fitzpatrick, nine grandchildren(Kaleigh(Jd),Kolby(Eliza),Kolton,Kavin, Kiptyn,Kabella,Kaxton, Kimbrie, Kallie Williams and Cheyenne Bennett) and three great grandchildren

Greg was the proud owner of Greg Fitzpatrick Pump Sales and Service where he worked side by side with Coe Allen. Coe has been a dedicated friend of the family for many years and was loved by Greg.

One can’t name all the friends that Greg had in under 100 pages. To many, Greg was much more than a friend, he was a brother. If you were sick, Greg was there, if you were sad, he’d cheer you up, if you needed anything, you could call him in the middle of the night – because if you were his friend, he truly cared about you. Greg was an avid outdoorsman, and his priorities were hunting and fishing. Think of all the fishing stories you heard that started with “me and Ol’ Buddy Dove,” or the hunting stories with “remember that time we…” Greg could tell stories for hours that would keep you laughing the whole time. This is one of the many things that his friends and family will miss dearly.

Besides the pump business, Greg was also the owner of a gourmet restaurant, the Road Kill Café, which was only open to his family and friends on Thursday nights. This restaurant was a place for great food and making memories; also, the same location as Greg’s Annual Fourth of July gatherings where you could count on the best BBQ and cakes in the country.

To Greg’s family and friends, he would want you to know how special each of you are. You know how Greg was, he wouldn’t want a single tear shed but instead, just love and take care of each other while he’s looking down at us.
